Each year, only a select few Hyundai dealerships earn the esteemed recognition of becoming a Hyundai Board of Excellence recipient. To achieve this accolade, a dealer must surpass stringent criteria and deliver exceptional customer care. We’re thrilled to share that McDonough Hyundai has proudly earned this prestigious award! It’s a testament to our unwavering commitment to exceeding expectations and ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction.
What is the Board of Excellence Award?
The Hyundai Board of Excellence program is a national recognition program that rewards top-performing dealerships for sales and service excellence. How does a dealer qualify? They must meet the following requirements:
- Dealer must be operational as of 1/4/23.
- Dealer must Retail a minimum of 250 new retail sales in 2023.
- Dealer must exhibit positive year-over-year sales growth.
- Dealer must be profitable in 2023.
- Dealer must be 100% sales efficient at a minimum.
- Dealer must meet all qualifiers for customer satisfaction for both sales and service.
- Dealer must pass all requirements under the Brand Ambassador program and be designated as a Brand Ambassador dealer by year-end 2023.

This prestigious distinction honors select dealerships nationwide for their achievements in guest satisfaction and providing customers with an outstanding sales experience. Only about 20% of dealerships are eligible for consideration. And those that do qualify, must pass a rigorous process.
